Steve Brooks has been an entrepreneur for as long as he can remember. Qualifying as New Zealand’s youngest real estate agent at 14, his first investment property at 16, his first million by 19.

A serial entrepreneur, Steve has founded, acquired and invested in businesses across a diverse range of industries, with a talent for spotting opportunities others miss. He launched one of New Zealand’s early tax refund businesses after the Global Financial Crisis, and was an early mover in the post-earthquake Christchurch “as-is, where-is” property market. Together with his business partner, he’s been involved in over 4,000 property transactions and 320 registered companies, building extensive experience across property development, investment, acquisitions and business growth. In 2020, he co-founded Wolfbrook Property Group, building it into one of New Zealand’s largest property development businesses.

Known for his “make it happen” attitude, Steve is not one to sit on the sidelines. He has an ability to see business opportunities in four dimensions, looking beyond what exists today to recognise what something could become tomorrow.He thrives on turning ideas into reality, challenging conventional thinking and building businesses at pace. He’s always open to the next opportunity, whether acquisition, investment, partnership or ambitious idea.

Guy has owned and operated businesses from an early age and has held senior leadership positions across a range of industries, with particular experience in development and finance.

As CEO, Guy works across The Office group, combining commercial, operational and financial experience to support the performance and growth of its businesses.

Glenn is a Chartered Accountant with a Master of Commerce with First Class Honours from the University of Canterbury. He began his career in public practice with Baker Tilly Staples Rodway and KPMG, advising clients ranging from small family trusts to corporate groups with turnover exceeding $800 million.

Glenn brings extensive expertise across finance, accounting, taxation and governance, supporting The Office and its portfolio businesses with disciplined financial management and strategic oversight.

Sally is a senior business leader with more than 20 years' experience across director and C-suite roles, spanning marketing, commercial strategy, growth, product development and business transformation.

At The Office Capital Partners, Sally is responsible for the operational engine room of the group, ensuring each business optimises both efficiency and growth. She brings a rare combination of operational rigour and commercial acumen, having built, scaled and sold businesses of her own.

Hamish is a senior investment professional with over 25 years' experience in financial markets, specialising in alternative investments across private equity, venture capital and hedge funds. He has held senior roles in London and New Zealand managing capital for public institutions, private family offices and Iwi. More recently Hamish has built governance capability via board roles and investment fund committees.

At The Office Capital Partners, Hamish leads investment acquisitions from origination, due diligence, deal negotiation through to transaction completion. His legal background complements his commercial and finance acumen to structure investment value from the outset.
